BAFTA’s

BAFTA’s annual film awards ceremony is known as the British Academy Film Awards and takes place in February in order to precede the Oscars. The awards are mostly open to all nationalities, though there is an award for Best British Film and Best Newcomer. The 2010 ceremony was held on 21 February, at the Royal Opera House.
